Open Fire, Two Guitars, vol 2 — Tabard Special Event

 — (EDT, UTC-04) — (EDT, UTC-04)

The Tabard Inn, 1739 N Street NW, Washington DC 20036

"Staring at an open fire, watching flames as they leap higher, I recall an old romance." — Lieber & Stoller.

I'm pleased to announce my return to the Tabard Inn's cozy lounge/parlor to present another evening of intimate, romantic jazz. I'll be joined by two of the DMV's finest on guitar and acoustic upright bass.

Along the way, a nod to Johnny Mathis' critically acclaimed "Open Fire, Two Guitars" album (1959), as we present a couple of gems from that masterpiece.

NO COVER, so enjoy the Tabard's exceptional fare and fully loaded bar. Space is very limited. First-come, first seated, first served.

It's the week of my birthday, and I can't think of a better way to start another year. So, join us, bring your sweetheart ... or your heartfelt memories ... and let's fellowship in the American songbook and more.

Valet parking available.
